Warm/cool map: orange = warmer than the picture's average, blue = cooler. Compare photo and painting with Flicker, Blend or Space. Differences: orange = painting warmer than the photo, blue = cooler. "Match lighting" removes the lamp color of your painting photo so you compare relationships.

Mirror and Squint stay on in every tab until you turn them off. Click tools work on the picture; drag still pans. Rulers show canvas inches or cm — click the corner to switch.
The areas most worth your attention in the current painting photo, biggest difference first. "Show Me" jumps to the matching check, zoomed in; "Intentional" sets aside a difference you chose on purpose (kept under Artistic License).
